JC Bybee was born in Ontario Oregon, the fourth of six kids. He grew up in Lakeview Oregon, a small town just north of the Oregon/California border. His interest in writing started at a young age, he wrote his first story in fourth grade. His reading interests stretch across Mystery and Crime, like the Hero Unit series, to Epic Fantasy, like Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive.
He’s also a stay-at-home dad, video game nerd, table-top role-playing game player/developer. JC enjoys weightlifting and staying active in general.
